Dice Rugby League was created during the Coronavirus Pandemic Lockdown in 2020. It’s purpose is to give people of all ages a way to enjoy the game without the ability to watch, take part or spectate the sport, and to help raise money for Rugby League Cares.
The game runs at two 40 minute halves, just like the real thing, and it’s best to stop the clock after a try is scored and restarting at the next kick off.
In order to play Dice RL, you will need:
- 1 Dice per person (either online or physical)
- 2 players
- 40 minute timer
- The rules
Optional: (If already a rugby league fan you should be able to do these yourself, but if new to the game you may want to keep a note of them)
- 1 – 17 player lists for your chosen teams (for when you roll for the try scorer)
- Tackle count tracker
- Pitch position and possession tracking.
